Internship Program

The Imaging Foundation is a group dedicated to developing image strong educational tools. These tools are made available to students, teachers and other nonprofit organizations.

The Imaging Foundation has recently launched its inaugural student internship program.

"I want to help students like myself reach towards a life goal."

Kelsey Powell

Kelsey Powell is a resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Kelsey is a bright, articulate, and clever student currently attending the Bucks County Technical High School. She is enrolled in the Commercial Photography program.

She has been invited to join IF on their next expedition to North Sulawesi, Indonesia. On the expedition Kelsey will be part of the team and assist in production. When she returns home, she will teach at four seminars in her community.

Kelsey has been working relentlessly to get funding for the trip. She has met with a member of the Kiwanis Club and is now invited to speak to the entire Kiwanis club about getting sponsored. She is setting up fundraisers at her church. Such fundraisers include a parish dinner including raffles and possibly a miniature art show. Letters will be sent out to her extensive family asking them to sponsor her as well.

Kelsey just finished submissions for the 2008 Browntrout American Flag Calendar. With the guidance of Georgienne Bradley and her Tech School instructor Ken Smith, she was able to submit over 20 images to be viewed and possibly published by the Browntrout Calendar company.
