The Galapagos Islands have changed little since Charles Darwin’s visit in 1835. His observations and theory of evolution regarding the origin of species sparked a debate that continues to this day. One thing everyone can agree upon is that the Ecuadorian archipelago is breathtaking and steeped in history.

Join the first joint Imaging Foundation – Aggressor Expedition and help weave together a virtual third grade classroom education series about the islands. Dive the waters and hike the Galapagos. As you experience and learn from your guides and books, pitch in with energy and ideas to teach kids thousands of miles away. If you are a photographer, great! If you are not, great too! Everyone is needed to help build this educational program.

By becoming an IF expedition team member you will feel yourself becoming a part of the legacy of the island. As you work and develop your team project, you are becoming part of the islands present and future.

Imaging Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to image based natural history education. Each project has a specific focus. In Galapagos participants will be creating classroom uploads on topics such as: The Art of Camouflage, the Success of Predation, and the History of Evolution. What is the history behind genus and species names and why do they have to sound so complicated?
